Hello again! It’s been a couple of weeks since the last update on my blog. Not that I didn’t want to or didn’t have anything to share. Last two months were totally crazy – at the beginning of September I went to Slovakia (aka my native country) and tried to catch up with friends, visit family and work. Just one week before my planned return a very unpleasant and unexpected thing happened – someone close from my family died so I had to change my itinerary and stay in Slovakia a little longer, helping with the funeral and supporting my family in those sad days.
When I finally returned to London, crazy paced times continued – we’ve been busy finding a new flat (and still are and although we don’t have a new contract signed yet, things look very promising). A week ago my best friend from Slovakia came for a visit and since it was her first time in London and UK, I’d put my guide’s shoes on and remembered how it feels like to see London as a tourist.
And then there’s of course my day to day work as a freelance social media manager and copywriter that keeps me busy and fills most of my time. Speaking of work, there’s also one very special opportunity rising up! I can’t tell you any details now but it’s going to be huuuuge and I can’t wait until I’ll be able to tell everyone!
So this is why I was so quiet recently but I’m back on track now!
About the second half of this post’s title – I had this planned since the beginning of September but because of all the craze described above I’m sharing it with you only now. Here are 8 pictures that will assure you that autumn is a perfectly suitable time of the year to travel:
Portland, Maine, USA
Central Park, NYC, USA
Lake District, United Kingdom
Can you hear all those lively colours inviting you over?
Which country do you think is the prettiest in autumn?
