Dear 2015, thank you for being so good to me. Thanks for allowing me to see so many gorgeous things, visit new towns, discover new tastes and meet great new people. I spent much more time travelling than I could cover on blog. So just to sum it up I picked some of my most favourite photos from all destinations I visited this year.

Casablanca & Marrakech, Morocco

It’s been more than 15 year since I was in Africa for the first (and last) time. I was super excited to see whether I would feel the same as I did when I stepped out of the plane as a child on north african soil and if Moroccan souks looked alike to those in Tunisia.

Bournemouth & Poole, England

The first day of spring didn’t allow to leave the winter coat at home but made for a nice day out anyway. After some research I chose Bournemouth and Poole which are just a couple of hours by train from London, so easily doable in a day.

Dublin, Ireland

Can I just say, Dublin is beautiful in spring. The blooming cherry trees complement Dublin’s cobbled streets and colourful facades so well. And as temperature rises up (a tiny bit), locals go out and make that great atmosphere that really calls for getting lost in with a cuppa and freshly baked scone. If this image entices you, I got a tip where you can turn it into reality – Brick Alley Cafe in Temple Bar. Sit by the window if you can, enjoy a couple quiet moments and lose yourself in people watching for as long as possible.

Lisbon & Sintra

We actually visited Lisbon two times this year but the first visit was much more picture worthy. We also included the beautiful area of Sintra and the most westernmost point of mainland Europe in our trip and I can’t recommend both of them enough.

Swansea & Gower peninsula, Wales

One thing I love about UK are local bank holiday weekends – bank holidays always fall on Monday which means you get a long weekend. Combine it with promotional prices on certain train routes et voila – a great short trip plan is born!

Wales is an ideal destination for such bank holiday weekends and Swansea with its direct train connection to London serves as a perfect gateway to Gower peninsula.

Brighton & Seven Sisters, England

In June, my best friend came to UK for second time so I wanted to show her something more than just London and our town. She brought beautiful weather with her so one day we ventured to seaside to soak up some sun. Fortunately, Brighton is just a short train ride from our home so it was a great, laid-back day without too much effort 🙂
